My two passions in musical history are telling stories of love and life in our first form of music: opera, and  the tales and travel portrayed in acoustic songs starting with  the cattle drives after the Civil War all the way to Gallup's own Bob Dylan. Route 66  and Dan Fogelberg will be themes heard often in the Acoustic portion of the program.

Urban Noise

Beneath the Surface, on 91.7 KGLP, is a radio show that exposes the listeners to musicians of different eras and different cultures. The show’s primary goal is to pay due recognition to songs that languished beneath the surface of pop culture. There is no specific genre that takes center stage. Rather, the show highlights a variety of music, including, but not limited to: Jazz, Blues, R&B, Funk, Hip Hop, Rock and Salsa. The host, Cedula Siete (Sam Tsosie) has been living in the Four Corners area for the past three years.  He is originally from the Los Angeles area, where he was DJ and Producer for the hip hop group Soundproof.
