Kathleen alternates host responsibilities for the Tuesday afternoon show, Kind Beat, with Calvin Gleason. Kathleen lived in Navajo, NM from 1989 to 1997 before moving to Whiteriver, AZ where she hosted several shows a week for 10 years on KNNB Apache Radio. She spends her time working as Field Director for Johns Hopkins Center for American Indian Health and lives with her recently-retired teacher husband David. A lover of music and stories, Kathleen has many friends in the area and hopes to continue making new friends by sharing music, thoughts about local and world unity, staying healthy and happy during difficult times and how to be the best world citizen possible. She rescues guinea pigs and photographs them for monthly theme-based cards. Ask her, she’ll share some with you.
