Berg hosts The Roadhouse Revue on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and features music from Bluegrass to Gospel.
He began enjoying listening to radio by tuning into Chicago broadcaster Larry Lujak who played “rock & roll” to the prairies of Illinois on WLS.
He's been a daily listener of NPR for decades on public radio stations at the University of Minnesota and the University of Michigan as well as WYCE-Grand Rapids, MI and of course, KGLP.
"I enjoy producing 'The Roadhouse Revue' and listening to a lot of great music" he said. "I’ve loved bluegrass music ever since my youth by getting a taste of it while visiting the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. when they were doing an American Folkways exhibit. In my free time, I enjoy listening to a variety of music, soccer, reading, hiking, gardening and traveling."
