Route 66, also known as “The Mother Road,” has hosted travelers across the American West over the last 100 years for a variety of pursuits. Some, purely for exploration and adventure. Others to make a living, or even to entertain audiences.
KGLP already brings you comprehensive international, national and regional news from our partners at BBC, NPR and Native America Calling. Recent listener surveys and interviews conducted by station personnel online and in-person show a strong desire for building a local Gallup newsroom.
The recent June 1 launch of the KGLP Member Drive is designed to boost funding for such.
More info about how to make a financial gift of support for this endeavor can be found at:
KGLP podcasts may be heard at http://kglp.podbean.com/. Gallup Public Radio's Board of Directors is scheduled to meet at 5:30 p.m. on August 10, 2026 in UNMG's Zollinger Library Conference Room if a quorum is present. For more information, email manager@kglp.org.
Thank you for Supporting Public Radio in Gallup!
